How an Invention Fair works
  1. A week or two in advance announce that you'll be having an Invention Fair.
  2. Students will invent new concepts and may pair up in teams.
  3. For an hour a day for one week, students learn about invention and work on their inventions for presentations to the class.
  4. At the end of the week, students make presentations and vote for the favorites.
  5. The winning inventors receive prizes.

You will be astounded with their awesome inventions and willingness to learn!

May we suggest

  • Have your Invention Fair school wide.
  • Have students make their final presentations at an assembly.
  • Announce the winners in your local newspaper.
  • Invite those parents who have patents to participate in class.

You'll soon discover why one of the most sought-out occupations for kids when they grow up is an inventor!
